We found this spider inside houses in damp, dark cellars, where it will make its web of irregular shape.

Reproduction:
The male must approach the female cautiously because it could take to potential prey and catch it to eat. It will then vibrate to the canvas of the female at a pace very special to be recognized by it. Once fertilized, the female produces silk bags containing between 16 and 60 eggs that she will transport between its chelicerae.
